Ice Storms and Fresh Bread

We are iced in but good today - So today is a great day for baking!!! Bread, pumpkin muffins, oatmeal muffins, peanut butter cookies, yellow cake with peanut butter icing, and a pecan pie.

I am so happy that all my people are tucked in safe and sound with me :-)

Sometimes I think we get a little big for our britches as my Grammy would tell me - We forget that the Lord is in control and with one thought He can change our weather, our circumstances, or our whole lives. Sometimes we need a reminder.......like an ice storm.
